You Are Never Too Young or Too Old To Bowl a 300 Game

Contributed by Ron Tucker

Dillon NahalDillon Nahal bowled his first sanctioned 300 at Brandon Crossroads Bowl in USBC Youth competition on October 7, 2006.  Dillon who bowls with a "pro style" delivery, and who averages in the 200's is only 14 years old (and obviously has a bright future ahead of him).

Gordon MillsGordon Mills, 73 years of age finally bowled his first sanctioned 300 game at Brandon Crossroads Bowl on February 9, 2007 in the Senior Men's Trio League.  Gordon who is averaging 170 bowled games of 176, 185, and 300.....which shows that he was determined to bowl better each and every game. Gordon started bowling about 30 years ago at the now defunct Palm River Lanes. Talk about a happy man, when Gordon left the center he raised his fist to the sky and let out a loud shout that could be heard throughout the parking lot!!

I guess that the moral of this little story is "you might be young, small, older and dressed for warmth," but you never know when you are going to bowl a perfect game...so look your best....you never know when a camera is lurking around !!
